I’m thrilled to share that I recently joined Elizabeth Bachman on her podcast, “Speakers Who Get Results.” Our conversation centered around a topic close to my heart – the profound significance of human connection and the value of nurturing the right network.
As an immigrant who re-started my career in a new country, I was fortunate to discover human connections’ true power. Through establishing meaningful relationships with my new neighbors, community members, and colleagues, I was able to build a network of support that helped me navigate the challenges of building a life for myself and my husband in a foreign land.
My success is largely in part to my ability to cultivate a strong web of friends, colleagues, and followers, and I am grateful for every person who has believed in me along the way.
In an era dominated by quick wins and follower metrics, we examined the notion of building a meaningful network that goes beyond simply accumulating a large online following. We explored the power of genuine connections, and how the quality and depth of our network can largely enrich our personal and professional lives.
As I reflect on my journey, I urge everyone to surround themselves with people who truly believe in them. A network of individuals offering support, guidance, and encouragement can make all the difference.
